Anita Hubbard is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning, self-trained digital/graphic artist and photographer based in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Anita’s work is a combination of digital painting, photography, and photo-manipulation using various Photoshop techniques. She has always had a strong love for nature, animals and her beautiful state of West Virginia. Capturing their beauty in digital photography has given her abundant inspiration.
Anita has won numerous awards including Best in Show/Overall Top Winner in Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery’s 13th Annual “Open” Online Art Exhibition in November 2023.
Graphic Design and Photography have been passions for Anita Hubbard for many years. Her desire to tell a story and convey an emotion is central to the art and designs she creates. She enjoys creating art for clients, friends, and family. With photo manipulation, AI and digital art, Anita has the ability to create stories that have the look of fine art. Creating memories and making people smile is very important to me.
For my Best in Show winning artwork, I had my grandmother in mind when I created this. She loved her flowers and cat. I used a mixture of stock photos for the background and other elements. Textures were added and then composed in Photoshop with lots of blending and a painterly finish. I created the model of my grandmother by taking her photo into Midjourney and feeding in prompts about her in her older years.
