Christopher Forslund is an award-winning photographer artist based in South Dakota, USA. Christopher is a US based landscape photographer and full time RV Nomad. His images are featured in online galleries throughout the United States.
Over the past several years, Christopher’s image style has evolved towards the dramatic. His landscape images evoke strong, expressive emotions with an emphasis on color, light and detail, creating dramatic expression in his images.
He loves to travel and can seldom be found in one place for any significant length of time. Christopher is drawn to all of the beauty that this great Nation has to offer and he is always excited when he has the opportunity to capture and share a new image.
Christopher has been featured and won awards in numerous both online and bricks and mortar art exhibitions. He won 3rd Place Overall in the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery’s 12th Annual Landscapes Art Exhibition in September 2022 and a Solo Art Exhibition in December 2022.
Christopher grew up in the rural, coastal mountains of California where he fell in love with the outdoors, photography, and the arts. From his early involvement with the Boy Scouts, through his law enforcement career, and then as a touring professional musician and now as a full time RVer, he has had the opportunity to travel, explore and capture much of this nation’s beauty though the art photography.
There is so much more to capturing an image than just the technical aspects of photography. I strongly believe that an image can speak to the heart and when I am capturing an image, I attempt to use the existing light and color to convey the emotion that I feel in that moment. I truly desire to harness strong emotion through my images. I am drawn to our Nations beauty and am always excited when I have the opportunity to capture and share a new image.
