Nijat Burjiyev is a talented artist who began his artistic journey with photography. Over time, he began incorporating his own unique editing techniques, developing a distinctive mixed art/collage style that has become his trademark.

To further hone his skills, Nijat Burjiyev enrolled in art classes at Santa Monica College, where he continued to refine his craft and explore new artistic avenues.

Today, Nijat Burjiyev works as a graphic designer for clothing companies, using his expertise to create compelling and visually stunning graphics that capture the attention of audiences around the world. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for artistic expression, Nijat continues to push the boundaries of digital art, creating work that inspires and captivates viewers.

Nijat Burjiyev Artist Statement

As an artist, I am constantly inspired by the world around me and the diverse experiences and emotions it evokes. My award-winning piece, titled "City Life," was born out of my fascination with the bustling, fast-paced environment of Los Angeles during lunchtime.

In this work, I sought to capture the energy and chaos of the city's business district, with crowds of people rushing to and fro amidst a sea of towering skyscrapers. To achieve this, I utilized digital art techniques to combine a photograph of the scene with additional objects, creating a mixed art/collage effect that adds depth and texture to the piece.

My creative process is a blend of technical skill and artistic vision, as I experiment with various digital tools and techniques to bring my ideas to life. With "City Life," I aimed to evoke a sense of excitement and urgency, while also highlighting the beauty and complexity of urban life. Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create work that resonates with viewers, sparking their own sense of wonder and inspiration.
